Get to know me….
Sandi Greco, Decorative Artist, Designer & Always a Student!
"Art is good therapy for the mind, body & soul…
I am a mother of 4 grown sons, grandmother of 8, and live in Clarence, NY, a rural suburb of Buffalo.
For over 40 years, Decorative Painting has been a major part of my world. Strokin’ that brush to create my first daisy did it….I was hooked! My first teacher was very encouraging as I had no art background or formal art education at the time. I can say with all my heart, this is a “learned art form” and I am the prime example. Practice, practice, practice is the motto for all my students!
Over the years I have taken many, many classes in any medium or style to learn new techniques, to improve my own skills, and to bring a wealth of knowledge to my students while developing their confidence and my own style. Teaching and creating is my passion and I enjoy sharing all that I can. Although stroke work has remained my first love and forte`, I have painted in almost all the mediums and painting styles and delight in whatever I am doing at the moment! I like a challenge and strive to achieve.
My business, The Paint’n Post Studio, started in 1984. I teach regularly from this Home Studio in person as well as Zoom classes. I have taught at many SDP conventions, MAD, HOOT, NET & OKC Palooza, as well as for many Chapters & Guild seminars as well as Retreats. I have been published in PAINTING WORLD Magazine, and also have had many packets available at Bear With Us, Inc. I am a Helping Artist for DecoArt and also an active member in three New York State Chapters.
I am so thankful for the blessings of my found and created talent and all the wonderful people I have met along the way. I will be here for you every step of the way and will work with you to help take you to the next steps of your journey in decorative art."
Students travel from all over the USA and Canada to take in-person classes. Sandi has also travels across America to teach seminars and is NOW also offering online classes!
